Steven Tyler
Under the guidance under the direction of Frank Connelly, their first manager, they spent some time on Boston's clubs circuit. The band then started working with Steve Leber (New York) and David Krebs (New York). They then signed a recording deal in 1972 and dropped their debut album, titled "Eponymous," in 1973. It was followed by Get Your Wings. Toys in the Attic. Rocks. and Draw the Line. These albums helped Aerosmith achieve international fame. The albums featured famous songs like "Dream on", "Walk This Way" as well as "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's first five albums were multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks have been considered as the greatest hard rock albums ever. Aerosmith began to feel the effects of the hectic music industry, which included touring, living together and using substances as the decade went on. Due to their famous use of heroin and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were known as the Toxic Twins. Aerosmith Behind the Music and many other video releases from Aerosmith showcase their relationship. Tyler seemed more committed to Aerosmith, and was displeased with Perry for his indifferent attitude. Perry also admired his prioritization of females in his life. Aerosmith was declining around 1980 because of tensions between Perry and Tyler.
