Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist currently competing with the Flyweight Division of the UFC. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC friend of hers is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her professional fight career during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in a unanimous decision. She then lost her subsequent fight because of a split verdict. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches she won over Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
